Rev. Dr. Chris Shorow has been the Senior Minister of First Christian Church of Edmond, OK since August of 2002. He previously served as the Senior Minister of East Dallas Christian Church in Dallas, TX and First Christian Church in Macon, GA. Chris was born in Enid, Oklahoma, and raised in Salem, Oregon. The son of a Disciples minister, Chris grew up in and attended Disciples churches in Oregon, Texas, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Georgia.  He received his BA in Political Science from Texas Christian University, Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt Divinity School, and his Doctor of Ministry at Phillips Theological Seminary. 

Chris and his wife, Beth have three sons - Paxton, William and Clark. He enjoys spending time with his family, enjoying sports - basketball, baseball and tennis - following TCU football, cooking, exploring art and art history and traveling to Italy, especially Florence!
