Shelley Regan

Shelley Regan serves as Director of Community Engagement, pouring her spirit into community partnerships, communications, and hospitality. She helps shape much of the church's creative work, developing worship series, faith formation resources, women's programming, and special events.

Community is the thread running under all of it: Shelley believes people don't just need a church to attend, but a community where they can connect their passions to the brokenness of the world. She's spent more than two decades helping build that kind of place at FCC Edmond — including partnering with ArtSpeak Creative to give the congregation language for its unique way of "being church": open tables, spacious faith, love in action for all people.

She is a typography enthusiast, a coffee shop lover, a bicyclist, and a lifelong learner who reads for work, for pleasure, and for the sheer relief of it. Voices like Barbara Kingsolver, Ann Patchett, Krista Tippet, Barbara Brown Taylor, Kate Bowler, Mary Oliver, Omid Safi, and Priya Parker help shape the way she thinks about faith, beauty, community, and what it means to be human.

Shelley is married to John Regan, FCC Edmond's Executive Minister. They have two adult children, Anna and Sam, and have recently discovered the delight of being grandparents — a role that's surprised her with how much wonder it brings!
