Choosing food your family enjoys and being greeted by friendly faces while you shop are simple things. They mean even more when money for groceries is tight. Our partners at Project 66 Food and Resource Center make room for both, and this October we're joining them in two ways.

Help Host an Evening in the Pantry
Monday, Oct. 19, 5:30 to 8 PM

We'll host an evening shopping hour in Project 66's client-choice pantry, welcoming neighbors and helping them choose groceries for their families. Teens 15 and up may volunteer on their own. Children ages 10 to 14 may serve with a parent. Sign up at fccedmond.org/nextsteps

A few extra items in your cart can help another family put a meal on the table. We're collecting three of Project 66's most-needed staples: canned chicken, peanut butter, and crackers of any kind. Drop donations in the lobby bins or bring them to Family Fun Fest on Sunday, October 25.

Two hands-on ways to connect with our community and put love into action!
