Help Keep Hunger Away this Summer – Donate Food for Ida Freeman Students

CONTACT: Shelley Regan, Director of Community Engagement 405.341.3544

Summer break can mean food insecurity for some of our youngest neighbors. Every weekend during the school year we pack a meal kit, combine it with snacks from the Regiaonal Food Bank, and deliver it to the porches of students in need at Ida Freeman Elementary.

Help us send our Ida Freeman Elementary friends into summer with full hearts and full pantries!

We’re collecting shelf-stable, easy-to-prepare foods like:

  1. Canned ravioli and Spaghettios

  2. Ramen

  3. Easy Mac & Cheese

  4. Canned soup (chicken noodle & veggie beef)

  5. Saltine crackers

  6. Cheerios

Drop off donations in the “Helping Our Neighbors Thrive” bin in the church lobby or make a donation online at fccedmond.org/give (select "Ida Freeman").

Bags will be packed on Sunday, May 18 — so don't delay! Let's help our neighbors thrive this summer!
