Good Friday - Apr. 3
6:30PM Friday, April 3 - An Embodied Journey to the Cross
Good Friday is an in-between moment. A day that holds both love and loss. A story we do not rush past, but slow down to walk through. To be present to the story and to sit in the in-between.
This year at First Christian Church Edmond, we invite you into an embodied experience of that story.
Through scripture, reflection, music, and simple hands-on stations, we will move together through the final hours of Jesus’ life. This service is designed for all ages, with stations that are gentle and accessible, inviting children and adults to participate side by side.
We will hear beautiful music, share in communion, and pause for a brief reflection on the space between Good Friday and Easter. The space where grief is real. Where questions remain. Where we do not yet know how the story will turn.
Then, you will be invited to move through a series of interactive stations to enter the story.
To feel, even in small ways, the weight of what was carried.
To remember the love that was shared.
To make space for sorrow, for compassion, for quiet reflection.
Whether you come on your own or with your family, there is space to move at your own pace, and to engage as you are able, and to experience the story in a way that is both grounded and open.
We hope you will join us as we walk the way of the cross together.
