Beans, Stories, and a Bigger World

Hear from our International Affairs Seminar Students and Enjoy a Bowl of Beans!
Sunday, May 3 | 10AM

Pull up a chair and hear what happens when faith meets the real world. Our students preparing for the 2026 International Affairs Seminar will share how preparing for this experience is already shaping their faith as they learn to follow the Way of Jesus in the world.

IAS is more than a trip to Washington DC and New York City. It is a chance for high school students to wrestle with big questions and discover how faith informs every area of life, including public service, global issues, and our responsibility to care for our neighbors. As they get ready to travel at the end of May, their research and conversations are well underway. This year’s focus on people experiencing homelessness is opening eyes and sparking meaningful reflection.

Stay after their presentation to enjoy a hearty bowl of beans and homemade sides, or head into worship and come back for a bowl. Either way, come listen, support our students, and be part of the story.
