Our Global Mission Partners

We embrace the following ministries that take us beyond ourselves and our community, and into the world God loves:

Disciples Mission Fund Disciples shared ministries reach out across North America. The DisciplesMission Fund builds a foundation enabling Disciples to globally sharethe good news of Jesus Christ. This common fund allows Disciples to pool their resources accomplishing a greater ministry.

Disciples overseas ministries stretch around the world. We tell the Good News, help dig wells, train pastors, immunize children and much more. We also help persons in times of natural disaster, economic upheaval and war. Through Global Ministries of the Christian Church and United Church of Christ, and the Week of Compassion we commit ourselves to a shared life in Christ, to an ecumenical global sharing of resources, and to prophetic vision of a just and peaceful world.  We join in God’s concern for the poor and oppressed.

    Meeting Needs As They Arise

We seek to respond in the love of Christ with compassion and resources. We provide relief and assistance through hands-on ministry. Mission teams from FCC have provided hurricane relief in Covington, Louisiana following Hurricane Katrina and in Lake Charles, Louisiana, following Hurricane Rita and Ike. We provided shelter for families following hurricane Katrina, and resources to equip families for life after disaster.
