Ways to Connect
We were all created by God to connect with others. No matter
where you are on your spiritual journey, connecting with others in
community is an absolute must. We need the love, support, and
encouragement of a community of people who are committed to journeying
alongside us. Ultimately, we need each other because “life change
happens best in community”!
At
First Christian Church we are family. Whether your family is one
person, or ten you will find a place that values connections! We
celebrate, pray, learn, play, eat, sing, work, serve, and meet
together. We look to each other for companionship and support in our
life's journey with Christ.
The best places to connect are in smaller groups. Sunday school groups for adults, students and kids serve as small groups. Volunteering to serve is another way to connect. Browse our calendar of events or newsletters to see everything that is going on, and be sure to contact us iif you have questions. If you aren’t sure where to plug in, join us for our Discover First Christian class, or visit with one of our staff.
Together we practice what it means to be a community of forgiveness,
generosity and grace. Sharing one another’s burdens, rejoicing in one
another’s joys.
Food, faith, friends and laughter
From an Easter Brunch, to Freedom Fest on the 4th
of July, to our annual Gratitude Celebration in the fall - throughout
the year we offer a variety of events that bring the entire church
together in intergenerational experiences.
UNITE – a great place to connect with our family of faith.
UNITE
is our Wednesday evening program for people of all ages. It meets on
Wednesday evenings, in two semester sessions (September – November AND
January – April).
UNITE gathers all ages together to CONNECT around the dinner table and
in small groups, and to GROW in faith through learning. Kids, students
and adults can take part in any or all elements to enrich your life.
Elements include: Dinner, Bible study, small groups, worship, music,
