Men's Walk October 4-7; Women's Walk October 18-21
The Walk to Emmaus is a 72-hour experience beginning on a Thursday evening and ending on Sunday evening. The focus of Emmaus is God as known in Jesus Christ and how that finds expression in the local church. The objective of Emmaus is to inspire, challenge, and equip local church members for Christian action in their homes, churches, and places of work. Currently, First Christian Church has well over fifty members who have attended the Walk to Emmaus. Dates for upcoming Walks: Men's Walk - October 4-7; Women's Walk - October 18-21. Both will be held at New Covenant United Methodist Church in Edmond. If you are interested in learning more about the Walk to Emmaus, feel free to contact Kay Mades, Karla & Robert Rowley, Gayle & Jack Smith; Bev Schmoyer, or Kay Sullins (above).
