Restocking the Pantry at Ida Freeman
Contact: Shelley Regan email@example.com
Each week food from the Regional Food Bank is sent home with children in greatest need at Ida Freeman Elementary. The guidance counselor at the school has dubbed this backpack program the “Health Club” and supplements the backpacks with fresh fruit and single-serving containers of applesauce, peaches, and pears. A generous donor delivers the fresh fruit, but about 70 containers of the self-serve fruits are used weekly. If you would like to help stock those items at the pantry, please purchase and bring to FCC. Our weekly Ida Freeman volunteers will deliver! Later this month we will be sharing a specific list of items needed to restock the pantry in time for our Road to Faith SS class to pack care packages for Spring Break.
