Moments for Mission are one way for people to share their own ministry experiences and information about upcoming opportunities to connect, grow, serve and care at First Christian Church.

We value the passion you have for mission and ministry, and for the information you wish to share with our church family. But we also recognize that too many announcements in worship can be distracting rather than appealing. To ensure the best use of our worship time, and to provide the most effective promotion for your mission and ministry, we ask that you note the following before submitting your request.

Please Note:

• Typically, only one Moment for Mission is scheduled per week.
• These "moments" should be rehearsed in advance, and be of 2 to 3 minute duration maximum.
• Requests should be received at least one week in advance.
• Moments for Mission take place at the end of our services, near the time of Benediction. You will receive advance instructions on when and where to share.
• The addition of audio/visual support (beyond a microphone) requires at least a two week advance notice.
• Not every request will be granted, and a Moment for Mission may not be the best way to convey information to the congregation.
• We seek to reserve Moments for Mission for announcements that relate to the congregation as a whole, not a small segment.
• If your request can not accommodated we will work with you to find alternative methods to communicate the information (bulletin announcements, display table, newsletter articles, our website, announcement slides shown pre-service and on monitors throughout the building).
