We will be doing hands-on mission work with people affected by the incredible damage of Hurricane Harvey.
Due to the nature of the work going on and the constantly evolving needs in the area, we won’t know the exact projects we will be involved in until we arrive. Some possible projects include cleaning out storm debris from ditches and drains, helping rebuild and repair damaged houses and other buildings, sorting and distributing food, water, and other supplies, and much, much more.
We are going down to the gulf coast to work with the communities that were first to receive damage from this devastating storm.
Our High School trip will be staying and working in Rockport, TX.
Our Middle School trip will be staying in Corpus Christi, TX and working in surrounding areas.
God is calling. Will you go?
In addition to the life-changing hands on work we will be doing, you can expect to form closer bonds with the rest of your church family as we work and live side by side for the week. You can also rest assured that it won’t be all work – we will also get to go enjoy a day at the beach having fun in God’s great creation!
"Here am I; Send Me!" - Isaiah 6:8
