Older adults, would you like to share time one day a week bonding with the younger generation?
Join Generations Learning Together, an intergenerational program where various age groups learn and play together. Led by the University of Central Oklahoma and hosted at First Christian, Generations Learning Together promotes social development and community involvement. The program is from 10-11am every other Tuesday in the Fellowship Hall. The dates for Spring are February 12 and 26, March 12 and 26, and April 9 and 23.
You’ll experience the joy and exuberance of children from our Child Care Center as mature adults, college students and children learn and play together. Dr. Glee Bertram, Ph.D., professor of Family Life Education, Human Environmental Sciences at the University of Central Oklahoma says “With our mobile society often, interactions among generations do not happen. Past participants have had so much fun!” Activities includes learning centers with opportunities for exploration in art, science, singing, and dancing. Come join the fun!
